Following several reports of cases of cruelty and of stray animals starving, Meryl Harrison found herself on the top of a rubbish pit just outside Harare. The report was of a dog starving to death and rumaging amongst the rubbish pit in search of food.
Several people at the pit reported having seen the dog which is hairless and thin. However, repeated vists have not been fruiotful this far . A dog trap will beb taken out to the rubbish pit and hopefully with luck the dog will be caught and taken to a better life.
